Hosted By Senator Mike McGuire; Daniel Swain, Climate Scientist with the Institute of the Environment & Sustainability at UCLA; Kristina Dahl, Senior Climate Scientist for the Climate & Energy program at the Union of Concerned Scientists; and more speakers will be announced next week!
The climate crisis is one of the top challenges of our time. It’s impacting every continent on earth and scientists believe climate change is evolving quicker than anticipated. We also know the impacts of climate change will disproportionately impact our most vulnerable neighbors, especially poor and older Americans.
You are invited to Senator McGuire’s upcoming Virtual Climate Crisis Town Hall on Wednesday, October 6th. This will be the first in a series of Town Halls in the coming year on the Climate Crisis and how it impacts California. All of them will be focused on the root causes of this crisis and the bold solutions that will be needed in the months and years to come.
