Join us for the 2nd event in IndiMarin’s new Discussion Group Series! We will be discussing the film "Dolores," an inspiring documentary about Dolores Huerta, one of the most important, yet least known, activists in American history. An equal partner in co-founding the first farm workers unions with Cesar Chavez, Dolores tirelessly led the fight for racial and labor justice alongside Chavez — and she continues the fight to this day, at 90. With intimate and unprecedented access to this intensely private mother to eleven, the film reveals the raw, personal stakes involved in committing one’s life to social change. Participants will watch the film in advance and then join us for an informal discussion led by Steering Committee member Susan Spitzer. Attendees will have the opportunity to share their impressions about the film. The film can be streamed via Amazon Prime. Feel free to bring your beverage of choice:) We look forward to an interesting and insightful evening!
