Join us for IndiMarin's writing gathering. It's a great way to enjoy a cup of coffee outdoors, chat with other members and do some good all at the same time.

On 8/3, we will be writing postcards to voters here in California in support of Governor Newsom in the recall election. We will also be writing letters to Virginia in advance of their elections in November for governor and state legislators. The letters are preprinted and writers add only a simple sentence about why voting is important to them. Letter writing is ideal for people who have difficulty with long postcard scripts. NOTE: You do not need to register with Vote Forward to write letters at this event. We will provide all materials.

Virginia is one of only two states which hold major elections in odd years. This year's election has significant implications for the 2022 midterms. In 2019, we flipped the state legislature and hope to increase our majority this year.

This event will have a maximum of 20 attendees so please sign up early!
