Assemblyman Marc Levine Tele-town Hall

Tele-town Hall on Your Mental Health During the COVID-19 Pandemic

From Assemblyman Marc Levine

These have been very difficult days for our community. We haven't experienced a public health crisis like the one COVID-19 is causing on a global scale in our lifetimes. We have been inundated by a deluge of information and numbers about the crisis on a daily basis and it's just the beginning. It is challenging to explain this to our children and the isolation and loneliness of sheltering in place is stifling.

In recognition of the overwhelming nature of our collective circumstance, I am announcing a series of telephone town halls beginning with a focus on mental health and sheltering in place. Please join me and Dr. Jei Africa, Director of Marin County's Department of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services for a conversation about how we can get through this challenging time. You can read more about Dr. Africa here.
